For 4 stars a gnarled mattress, super noisy and a loveless breakfast. Other hotels can do that better.

Nice design room, great central location, only a few steps from Puerta del Sol.
Shower did not work properly. Breakfast selection was limited, probably due to having breakfast early (not all options were available yet)

Unfortunately, two things:1./ The advertised Wi-Fi service worked only sporadically, if at all in my room (210). - 2./ As an architect/professor, I appreciated the intent for a fresh, modern design. But not on the price of comfort! I would make the designer sit in the two chairs for a few hours per day, to learn, that one can not sit in a chair, where the seat and the back encloses 90 degree angle! Design 101, so , go back to learn, and do not torture the guests just for the look!Sincerely:Dr. Peter Magyar, riba

This was a fantastic hotel. Our room had a balcony, jacuzzi and a great location. It was one of the best hotels I've stayed in for the money. I highly recommend it.

The location is excellent, everything is so easy to reach by foot. Staff were really helpful and give very useful advice. Free good internet connection. They can hold your suitcase after you check out for the rest of the day. Even if there is no breakfast service, there is a great Pastelaria (bar, pastry shop) just next door.
The air conditioning is not the best, but if you don't go in June-July-Aug it's more than fine!

Hotel is centrally located about 2 blocks from Puerta del Sol. It is a 4 star hotel, however, a 4 star hotel in Europe is not a 4 star hotel in US. The breakfast was very good. Room was not big as we are usually accustomed to, however, it was comfortable and we cannot complain about noise.
It does not have a bell man, so you wheel your luggage to your room. It does have an elevator
